Inuk Back-Pack
This string back-pack is special to me as, in my mind, it refers to Inuit culture despite their total lack of weaving. Inuk means 'person' and the plural of Inuk is Inuit. It's hand woven with white linen yarn and cotton fabric, where the dark blue is from dyeing with the plant Indigo, and put together with the softest grey Alpaca yarn. It is lined with a white cotton fabric that is also used for the opening. I see it as a beachbag, but that it would be to limit the possibilities of its use. Inuit is the plural of inuk 'person'. It measure 46 x 36 cm and the tassels are 22 cm long.
