Nordvild

The Outer Hebrides, with its moor-landscape, flat and open to the sky, soft to step on, dotted with hard rocks, and crisscrossed with sandy pathways, were the inspiration for this rug.

The rug is a kilim flat weave. It is woven by hand with hand spun wool and linen yarns. I also used some cotton yarn for the whiter part, woven all on a linen yarn.Yet it feels soft to step on. It is 115 x 207 x 0.5 cm. Under Cushions one will find three cushions to match. The quality is superb and truly speaks for itself.
